FORGERY BY YOUTH.
(By Telegraph.—Oivn Correspondent.) KAITAIA, this day. Pleading guilty to the forging of a cheque for £7 10/ in the name of J. W. Hayes and uttering the same to James Mewett, of Kaeo, on July 14, John Vine Masey Hope, aged* 18 years, appeared before Mr. Morris, S.M., this morning, and was committed to Borstal for two years.
