TAKAPUNA TROUBLE.
DISPUTE OVER FINANCE.
RESIGNATION OF COUNCILLOR,
Mr. A. M. Seaman has resigned his seat on the Takapuna Borough Council, as the outcome of a discussion at a meeting of the council last Wednesday evening, when it was decided to draw on next year's revenue to the extent of £2000, to assist in the relief of unemployment. During the discussion Mr. Seaman condemned the proposal as being financially unsound, Mr. Seaman was one of four dissentients when the vote was taken.
