NEW ZEALAND CO-OPERATIVE.

REDUCING CALLS,

The directors of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Company, Limited, have decided to reduce the annual call, or deduction for butter shares, as from June 1, 1929. The reduction from the previous figure of %d per lb butterfat to id means that the position of incoming shareholders is eased and they are given a longer period in which to pay up their share capital. The position of the original shareholders, who, by reason of holding fully paid butter shares, received their'sbareholders' bonus in cash, is duly safeguarded as, under the new system, they will receive, as ordinary payment, the due proportion of he amount they previously received as shareholders' cash bonus.
