BRAKE SHIELD CHALLENGE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, this day. The North Auckland Rugby Football Union has appointed Mr. D. McCarroll manager of the representative team this year. Whangarei's challenge. for the Brake Shield will be the third' match played. The suspension of A. P. Cherrington (Bay of Islands) for five years has been approved by the New Zealand Union.
