ARCHITECT ARRESTED.

ALLEGED INTOXICATION.

WEEK'S REMAND GRANTED.

Charged with being in a state of intoxication while in charge of his motor car in Queen Street yesterday, a wellknown architect was arrested. There was no appearance of accused at the Police Court this morning. Mr. Allan Moody, who represented accused, in asking for a week's adjournment, said his client was ill and not able to be present. Counsel asked for suppression of accused's name in the meantime. This request was granted by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.
