NEW CHURCH HALL.

FOUNDATION STONE LAID.

ELLERSLIE PRESBYTERIANS.

The Presbyterian Church in Jubilee Road, Ellerslie, has had erected a new church hall, which will accommodate about 300 people. ' Primarily the hall will be used for the Sunday school and social functions connected with the church, but it will also Toe available for entertainments.

The foundation stone was laid this afternoon by Mr. G. L. Lather, in the unavoidable absence of Mr. R. H. Mather. The deputy-Moderator of the Presbytery, Rev. T. H. Roseveare, and the Rev. J. Hubbard also took part in the function.
