KIRK-WINDEYER cup contest. DUNCAN STILL UNCERTAIN. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. When the Kirk-Windeyer Cup team sails for Australia on Friday of next week it will go without A. D. S. Duncan. Duncan, who announced some time icq that he was uncertain whether he could trayel, is still unable to say if he can make the trip. However, a berth has been pencilled in for him on the Sydney steamer of the following week, and if he is crossing it will be by that boat. J. Goss, an amateur champion of five or sis years ago, is accompanying the team to the Commonwealth. Dr. Kenneth Ross, who was in doubt some time ago, is now definitely making the trip.
