REFEREES' ANNUAL MATCH.

SATURDAY,

At the weekly meeting of the Auckland Union's Management Committee land Rugby Union's Management Committee last night the Referees Association anmial matcli against Helensville, at Helensville, on August 31, and it was decided to donate £8 towards the expenses of the trip. The recommendation of the judicial board that .J; Brimble, who was ordered off last Saturday, be stood down for one week was .agreed to. . The Hamilton High School asked if they might play a curtain-raiser against the Mount Albert Grammar School at Eden Park on July 20. The request was referred to the match committee. It was decided to refer the application for reinstatement of A. G. Bond and B. Smith to the New Zealand Union with favourable recommendations. \ The committee decided that the cur-tain-raiser to" 'tiie Auckland-Waikato match at Eden Park on August 3 be provided by Auckland and Hamilton third intermediate grade teams.
