Owing to incoming overseas vessels having been delayed by adverse weather last week, a fairly heavy influx is expected within the next few days. The passenger steamer Tofua expects toarrive to-night, followed by the Ulimaroa from Sydney to-morrow morninsr. The Hororata now radios that she will arrive from London to-morrow afternoon, but she will anchor at the powder ground to discharge explosives before coming into port. The King Gruffvdd is duo on Wednesday from Antwerp, while the Baron Jedburg from Cuba, and the Heron from Borneo, and the Newton Pine from Casablanca should also arrive about the middle of the week. MAIMOA FOR LONDON. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. announce the steamer Maimoa to sail from Wellington at 6 a.m. next Wednesday for Montevideo and London. CERASUS WITH PHOSPHATE. To the agency of A. S. Paterson, Ltd., the steamer Cerasus is due at Auckland from the South on Saturday next, to complete discharge o£ her cargo of phosphate from Juan de Nova. She has about 1400 tons of phosphate for this port. KENT TO LOAD. Leaving Gisborne on Wednesday afternoon. the Federal steamer Kent is due at Auckland on Wednesday morning, and is scheduled to sail the following Tuesday for London and West of England ports.

MAHIA FOR NEW YORK. To fill up general and refrigerated produce for New York, Boston, Halifax and London, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahia is due at Auckland from the South on Friday next. She is announced to leave Auckland for New York on July 16. A. S. Paterson and Company are the local agents. RARANGA LEFT LIVERPOOL, Cabled advice from Liverpool confirms the departure from there on Saturday last of the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Raranga, with general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. She is due here about August 13. TOFUA DELAYED. Rough weather is delaying the Union Company's steamer Tofua, and she does not expect to arrive at Auckland from Suva before 6 p.m. to-day. A berth has been allotted to her at the Queen's wharf and she is announced to sail again for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa at 11 a.m. next Saturday. CANADIAN TRANSPORTER LOADING. For final loading for New York. Boston and Montreal, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Transporter arrived from Wellington this morning and berthed at the King's wharf. This evening she is to ~ .u«» w etiicrn wharf to bunker, and tn sail for New York at daybreak, to-morrow. WARNING TO MASTERS. The superintendant of Mercantile Marine advises that a recent gale extensively damaged the signal staff at the signal station on the South Head, Hokianga Harbour. The exhibition of general harbour signals has been temporarily discontinued, and while repairs are being made all bar and danger signals will be made by international code. .

The Awaliou arrived this morning from Gisborne and berthed at the King's wharf. She is to sail again at 5 p.m. to-morrow. The Margaret W. arrived from Gisborne on Saturday afternoon, and sails again at noon to-morrow. She is at the King's wharf. The Tiroa is to sail for Bast Coast bays at noon to-morrow. The Coronation sailed for Awanui on Saturday afternoon. TANKER HERON COMING. Running under charter to the Shell Oil Co., the tanker Heron is due at Auckland on Wednesday next with a full cargo of bulk motor spirit from Ballk _ Papan, Borneo. Local cargo will be discharged at the Western Wharf. HUAPEHU REPORTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received the following radio from the steamer Ruapehu, which left Napier on July 2, for Southampton and London : "Noon, Saturday. Fresh, southerly wind. All Well." WAIHEMO AT NAPIER. An arrival at Napier on Saturday was the Union Company's steamer Waihemo, with lumber, case oil and general cargo from the Pacific Coast. Her other ports of discharge are Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. [ AT LONDON. Advice from London states that the I Shaw, SaviH and Albion motorshlp Karamea and the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rotorua, arrived there from New Zealand on Saturday. Both vessels were dispatched from Wellington on May 30, TAHITI AT SYDNEY. From San Francisco, via Papeete, Rarotonga and Wellington, the Union Co.'s R.M.s. Tahiti Is reported to have arrived at Sydney this morning. On her return voyage to San Francisco, she is scheduled to leave Sydney on July 11, and Wellington on July 16. PORT ALMA AT COLON. En route from London, with general cargo for Wellington, Auckland and New Plymouth, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line motorship Port Alma, is reported to have arrived at Colon last Saturday. She is due at Wellington on July 26, and at Auckland about a week later. ULIMAROA FROM SYDNEY. According to her wireless report, the Huddart-Parker steamer Ullmaroa, with passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney, will arrive at Auckland at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Here she will berth at the Queen's Wharf. She is announced to sail again on her return voyage to Sydney at 11 a.m. next Friday. HORORATA DUE TO-MORROW. A further radio from the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hororata states that she expects to arrive at Auckland from London at 4 p.m. to-morrow. Before coming into port she will anchor at the Powder Ground to discharge explosives. Her general cargo is for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. lONIC SAILS SATURDAY. In continuation of her voyage from London, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer lonic is to sail on Saturday next for Well llngton, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton. CITY OF SALISBURY ARRIVED. Two days earlier than expected, the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer City of | Salisbury (Captain D. O. Evans) arrived at] Auckland from New York this morning, and j berthed at the Prince's wharf. The City of! Salisbury loaded at Portland (Maine) and New York, and sailed finally from the latter port on June 5. She called at Norfolk, Virginia, for bunkers, leaving there on June 6. Transit through the Panama Canal was obtained on June 13. Fine weather prevailed until after the vessel passed Pitcairn Island, when she encountered a strong westerly gale. The wind later shifted to the south-west and blew with great force, raising a very rough sea. From Auckland the vessel is to go to Weilington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. The New Zealand Shipping Co. are the local agents. UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The Katoa, en route from Wellington to Auckland, is being delayed by rough weather and does not expect to arrive until 8 p.m. to-day. She is to berth at the Prince's wharf, and sails again on Wednesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Tlraaru. The Walpiata leaves Lyttelton this afternoon for Wellington and Auckland. The Kartigi is to commence loading for Auckland at Westporf to-morrow, and will complete her cargo at Greymouth. The Waijriea arrived last night from Gisborne and Nanier and berthed at the Queen's wharf. She is to sail again at 4 p.m. to-day. The Kaimanawa leaves Portland this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. PASSENGERS FOR ENGLAND.
