WESTPORT, Wednesday.
Residents of Westport experienced another nerve-racking period last niglit with earthquakes, some of a heavy and sustained character, coming in quick succession. Many people, unable to stand tiie strain of shaking houses, camped in the open, lighting fires in the streets and taking tlieir food there
Throughout to-day a cyclone has raged, adding to the trying experienc-ea of residents.
