TRIBUTE TO LEADER.

General Higgins' Praise Of Bramwell Booth. SERVICES DURING- THE WAR. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) LONDON, June 17. When General Booth died last evening all the members of his family except his daughter, Commissioner Mary Booth, were at the bedside. There was no evidence that a relapse was imminent until his doctor, who visited him in the morning, found that his patient had taken a sudden turn for the worse. General Booth remained conscious all day. He spoke to his wife and his daughters Dora and Olive, and his two sons. He lapsed into unconsciousness shortly before the end. General Higgins, in a tribute to the dead leader, said Bramwell Booth's name would always be linked with that of his father as the builders of the Salvation Army. His skill and wisdom during the World War brought the Army through as an unbroken international unit.
