In the Davis Cup round Britain v. Hungary the former won by three matches to two. The last singles resulted: Kelirling (Hungary) defeated Austin (Britain), 3—o, (i—4, G —2, o—2;0 —2; Gregory (Britain) defeated Takachs (Hungary), o—l,0 —1, 6—o, 6 —3.
