CHATHAM CUP TIE.
TO-MORROW NIGHT'S MATCH The first of the Chatham Cup tics to be played under Jloodligiit conditions will be that to-morrow on Blandford Park .between Thistle and Northcote in the second round of the local elimination competition. Special attention given the ground since Saturday's games has brought the playing area back to its former condition, which should ensure a fast game. Xortheote have always proved strong opponents for Thictle, and are noted cup-tie fighters, while the Scots are bent on making a great bid for the Dominion club premiership, so that the characteristics cup-tie Soccer can be almost guaranteed.
