The second round of the Waikare Club's championships was played in tine weather on Saturday. M. Austin beat Lenihan, 4 and 3; E. Marr beat D. McCarthy, 3 and 2j A. Harkness beat 11. Stewart, 0 and 3; \N. Jeffries beat M. Eccles at the twentieth hole.
In the ladies' section, Miss Donovan beat Mrs. R. Pulham, (3 and 5; Miss Alley beat Mrs. .J. Keith, 1 up. The draw for next week is:—Ladies' final: Miss Donovan plays Miss Alley. Men's semi-linals: A. Darkness plays W. Jeffries, E. Marr plays M. Austin.
