O'Kl'.ll. country representative for the firm, returned by the Marama this- morning from Sydney. Mr. J. W. Williamson, Mayor of Takapuna, and W illianison were passengers by the Marama from Sydney this morning. They have been to Australia on a holiday trip of nearly six weeks. Mr. W. Maitland (Christchurch), Mr. A. D. Carson. Mr. R. C. Somerville, Mr. W. Xapicr and Mr. F. Wallia (Wellington), and Mr. and Mrs. A. E. McDonald (Whangarei) are at the Star Hotel. Mr. C. P. Agar, of Christchurch. chairman of the Associated Chambers of Commerce, who returned yesterday by the Aorangi from a tour of the United States' and Canada,, left for the South by last night's express. Central Hotel quests include Mr. and Mrs. F. C'. Mcßeth (Feilding), Mr. F. Bonner (Manaaweka), Mr. A. L. Smyth, Mr. E. G. Guv, Mr. C'. Martin and Mr. R. W. Uren (Wellington), Mr. C. C'arr (Rotorua), Mr. L. Davis and Mr. D. Davis (Sydney), Mr. J. R. McLennon (Hastings), and Mr. W. Laurence (Invercargill). Dr. Frederick E. Webster, a former pupil of the Auckland Grammar-School, has passed the primary examination for a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, London. Dr. Webster gained the degrees of M.8., Ch.B., at the Otago Medical School, and he was later on the staff of the Auckland Hospital.
