WHANGAREI borough proposals,

WHANGAREI, this day.
Although little unemployment exists in Whangarei at present, the position is likely to be aggravated when some big contracts arc completed in a month's time. The Borough Council last night decided to grant £1500 out of the general fund an dask the Government for a £ for £ subsidy. The money will be expended on concreting the footpaths.
