Southern Cross Makes Test
Flight.
TRIP TO ENGLAND
SYDXEY, June 16.
Squadron-Leader Kingsford Smith tested the Southern Cross in a flight over Eichmond, when the machine behaved well. The Governor-General, Lord Stonehaven, was on board, and was at the controls while the aeroplane was circling over the aerodrome. Smith hopes to start before the next week-end on the flight to England, the first stage being a" non-stop flight to Derbv. The crew will be the same as before.
