THE MOSQUITO MENACE.
Periodically the public is asked by the Health Department and the City Council to clean up its backyards and remove old tins, bottles and other receptacles wherein mosquitoes are wont to breed. Lovers of cleanliness keep their backyards clean at all times. It is the dirty, slovenly people who neglect to do so, and they should be compelled to do their duty. What is wanted is regular inspection. 'At the same time the council should inspect its own reserves, filling in the swamps to be found on some of them and removing all manner of possible breeding receptacles, thus setting others a sood example. CLEAN CITY.
