SOUTH AUCKLAND REFEREES. PUKEKOHE, this day. At the annual meeting of the South Auckland Rugby Referees' Association last evening Mr. A. Alexander said the association was representative of a considerable and growing body of referees of the four affiliated sub-associations. It was desirable that referees of the Waikare Rugby Union should be represented on the association. The financial statement showed a credit balance of £4 9/1.
The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. Taylor; vice-president, Mr. O. P. Baird; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. H. Hewitt; management and appointment committee, Messrs. Alexander, Baird and E. Pollock; delegate to the South Auckland Rugby Union, Mr. Hewitt,
