THEFT FROM EMPLOYER.
MAGISTRATE ADJOURNS CASE,
"This girl has been in tow'with a young man who is a thorough bad egg," said Chief Detective Hammond, when a girl of 18 appeared at the Police Court this morning, pleading guilty to stealing articles valued at £4 15/ from the house where she had been employed. Mr Hammond said accused had only been in her position a week when she stole the goods. When suspected of theft ehe returned the goods to her employers

They are going to break. I will keep him oft. Mr Hunt, rather than convict the girl, adjourned the case for six months and made an order for the suppression.of Her name. ■ ■ .
