CONGREGATIONAL SOCIAL.
The members of the Onelmnga Congregational Church held their annual social last evening. The Rev. G. way presided. Addresses were delivered by the Rev. W. McMillan,' Pastor W. Hill, and Mr. C. Moon. A musical programme of vocal and instrumental items was contributed by the choir and friends. During the evening Pastor J. Gordon Smith was congratulated on the success attending his four years' pastorate at Onehunga. and received the thanks of the Church for his promise to continue in the office for another two years. After suitably reply in 2, Mr. Smith presented to Miss Irene Parker a gold-mounted attache case and a leather handbag on behalf of the Church in recognition of her seven years' ser- i vice as church organist.
