The Public Accounts for the" year were gazetted to-day, but the usual summary was not furnished by the Treasury, as it explains that the ground has already been covered by the Prime Minister in his public addresses. It may, however, be stated that the ordinary revenue for the year is shown as £22,864,723'. Amongst other receipts were: Territorial; £198,802; Departmental, receipts by Justice, printing and other departments, • £520,003; credits in reduction, £1,183,010.. The expenditure includes interest, £11,339,568; under Special Acts, £6,273,190, and annual appropriations, £9,094,218. The Public Works account shows a balance in hand of £3,889,083.
