In the first round of the English amateur championship at Sandwich, L. Campbell, a Xew Zealander, beat W. Richards, an American, 4 and 3. Grant, of St. George's, beat H. Gillies,, a New Zealander, at the nineteenth.

HOPES TO VISIT DOMINION. (United Service.) XEW YORK, June 10. Hagen, on arriving from London, said he hoped to visit Xew Zealand and Australia next year.
