SURPLUS OF £1343 LAST YEAR.
f< lt gives me the greatest pleasure to tell you that the surplus over liabilities for the borough last year is £1343 7/7," said Mr. E. H. Potter, Mayor of Mount Eden, at a special meeting of the council last evening. "Our borough is recognised ae being one of the soundest financially of any in the Dominion. Pew places anywhere can claim a higher standing than the district of Mount Eden."
