SUCCESS OF EXPERIMENT,
The experiment being carried out by Ihe Auckland City Council in using white bnes to,''control traffic, is meeting with great success and is finding favour with motorists. There has been much favourable comment on the new system, many motorists <iccl<iiirnng it <is ci Jiecessity which should have been introduced lon'f ago. °
In many towns throughout the North Island, the use of white lines is coining into favour, and on a number of outer suburban roads, leading into some of the bigger towns, white lines are being placed in the middle of the 'road 011 all bends to prevent the careless motorist from cutting the corner.
