RADIO THIEF FOILED.
A CLUMSY ATTEMPT. AMATEUR AT WORK. A clumsy attempt was made last night to break into the radio shop of Lewis Eady and Sons, Ltd., in High Street. Marks of a diamond were found on a small glass panel near the patent lock on the door. It was fairly evident that the operator was an amateur, judging by the marks he made on the glass square. It appeared as if they had been made with a diamond ring, as the scratches were irregular, and could not have binwi done with a proper diamond cutter. Had he gained 'entrance the tlieif would have secured a good haul of radio sets and accessories, but would not have been able to get ripht through to the firm's main warehouse.
