A charge consisting of 45 cases of explosives was fired on Thursday under the hillside at the Tahaemii quarry, near 'Nuhaka, bringfno- down approximately 10.000 tons of stone, which is to be.usM in the construction of the breakwater at Waikokopu. . l ' ■■-
