SIR TRUBY KING.

JEWISH HONOUR CONFERRED. NAME IN GOLDEN BOOK. FOR WORK IN PALESTINE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The first conference of the New Zealand Women's Zionist Society, which is concerned with Plunket work in Palestine, was held this week, when delegates were present, from the four cities. Mrs. David Nathan, of Auckland, was elected president. It was resolved that Sir Truby King's name be inscribed in the Golden Book of the Jewish people, in recognition of his co-operation in establishing Plunket mothcrcraft centres in Palestine.

The Golden Book referred to may be described as the Jewish Koll of Honour. It is kept in Jerusalem, and in it are inscribed the names of all who have been of service to the Jewish people.

Sir Truby King's name will appear in company with those of His Majesty the King, Viscount Allenby, Dr. Albert Einstein, and others equally eminent.
