VANCOUVEK, June 7.
A telegram from Kegina, Saskatchewan states that at the provincial general election yesterday the Liberals were defeated after 23 years in office Latest returns indicate that the Conservatives, Progressives and Independents are leading in 40 of the 63 electoral districts. . „ , Conservatives have gained 26 seats, Tihprals f; 3, Farmers five and Independents four. Three are still doubtful. Mr J Latta, -Provincial Secretary, and Mr." C. M. Hamilton, Minister of Aericulture, were defeated. The Premier, Mr. James Gardiner, admits the defeat of his Administration.
