Dicky Possum was wandering *°*™*j»* h road in the .moonlight looking far tures. At the end of the road.he came upon a -.riverside wharl.
He strolled down the wharf, thinking that perhaps he might see some fieh, and then he would call the Friends to catch them for breakfast, ior he liked fish as well as fruit.
But instead of seeing fish he espied a mound of -watermelons, a iavourite feast of the Friends, -and ran off to call Bub and Hone.
The Friends came in a hurry, and split some melons with Bub's axe. Bub, Hone, Dicky, and the Upsidedown Bird began to eat. But Mr. t and Mrs. Yellow * Friend were much disgusted—-they expected fish.
