Entries closed yesterday-with the secretary, Mr. A. J. Favquhar, for |the 'Avondalc Stakes (1920), the Avondale Guineas (1930) and the All-aged Stakes (1930). For the Stakes 93 nominations 'vara received against 77 last year, for 'ithe Guineas the nominations numbered 142 compared with 120 last season, and 'for t-ha All-aged Stakes 123 against 120 ;• for the previous year.
