Mr. J. Cruse and Mr. Fred. Barnhouse (Wellington) are at Hotel Car-
Mr. F. Board and Mr. J. Carrol (Te Aroha), and Mr. J. Hunter (Welttngton), are at the Central Hotel.
Mr. D. Ardell, Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs, is visiting Auckland. He is staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. G. W. Hutchison, a member of the Auckland City Council, has been appointed a justice of the peace.
Mr. K. Hale (Wellington), Mr. W. E. Hamilton (Christchurch) and Dr. K. Speeding (Melbourne) are at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. A. E. White and Mr. and Mrs. W. Hay (Petone), and Mr. A. Waterworth (Wellington), are at the Star Hotel.
Mr. A. C. Day, official secretary to the Governor-General, left for Wellington by train last evening. He was accompanied by Mrs. Day.
