"NOWHERE TO SLEEP."
MAN BREAKS SHOP WINDOW. STOLE SHOES TO SELL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Thomas John Long, the man who smashed the window of a shoe store by kicking it, and then ran away with some shoes, to-day pleaded guilty to four charges of breaking a shop window and stealing boots. When questioned, he told the police, "I didn't know where to sleep. I took the shoes to sell them."
