PIRATING A NAME.
AN INTERESTING JUDGMENT,
. The decision of Mr. Justice Hcrdman, in the action by a well-known British motor firm to restrain a local firm from using their name, is of great interest to business men generally and motor traders in particular. The learned judge, in giving judgment for the plaintiff company, made it clear that all "cases of piracy," as he termed the action in question, would be stopped where the use of a name of an established firm was sought by another in the same line of business.
