NORTHERN WAIROA SHOW.
ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL MEETING. FIRST CREDIT BALANCE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. At the animal meeting of the Northern Wairoa A. and P. Show Association, about forty members were present. In the unavoidable absence of the president, Mr. W. Montgomery, through illness, Mr. S. C. Pritchard presided. The annual report and balance-sheet shows that the society is in credit for the first time for many years, having assets totalling £1250, including cash in hand £11 and sundry debtors £15. The last £100 worth of debentures was paid off during the year. Members agreed to donate £5 towards the expenses of entertaining delegates to the National Dairy Conference at the end of June, and a number of those present promised to place their cars at the disposal of the entertainment committee. The executive are arranging with the Workers' Educational Institute with a view to having their lecturers visit the district and give addresses on topics of interest to the farming community. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Bt. Hon. J. G. Coates, M.P.; president, Mr. S. C. Pritchard; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. J. G. Wilson and W. Montgomery; auditor, Mr. A. L. Billing; executive committee, Messrs. W. P. Begg, H. Montgomery, H. P. Sills, G. H. Bradley, W. J. Cnrnow, O. F. Dazzler, H. 11. Bradley, R. Montgomery, and H. Kerr.
