ROTARY CLUB OFFICERS.
POSTS FOR COMING YEAR. New officers were declared elected at the weekly luncheon of the Auckland Rotary Club yesterday, when Mr. G. W. Hutchison, president, was in the chair. It was announced that no nominations, other than those from the nominations committee, had been received for officers next year, and therefore the following were re-elected: President, Mr. S. Reid; vice-president, Mr. S. J. Harbutt; secretary, Mr. J. A. Gentles; treasurer, Mr. J. O'Connor; auditor, Mr. J. M. Elliffe; directors, Messrs. R. Angus, P. A. Hellaby, A. G. Poison and T. U. Wells; sergeant-at-arms, Mr. W. Blomfield; song leadei-, Mr. W. Manning; official correspondent to Rotary International, Mr. A. J. Hutchinson; publicity officer, Mr. J. F. Shanly. The golf match, one of the' competitions among club members, had been won by Mr. J. F. Ewen, the president stated; the snooker and bridge competions would be conducted during the coming three weeks.
