A.A.A. NEWS.
COMPILING ROAD MAPS. CYCLISTS WITHOUT LIGHTS. The touring manager of the A.A.A. is on his southern tour compiling road information for the new season maps and guides. He has - accompanied Mr. J. Park, a member of the A.A.A. Council, and is to-night with Mr. Park at a meeting of A.A.A. members at Taumarunui. The A.A.A. has requested police and traffic officials to pay special attention to those cyclists who do not display a reflector. They constitute a very real menace on the road and it is in the interests of the cyclists themselves that th6y should be clearly visible. One night, last week as many as 2G unlighted bicycles were seen between Otahuhu and Penrose within half an hour after sunset.
