AUCKLAND CHORAL SOCIETY.
The Auckland Choral Society will present Wallace's charming opera "Maritana" in. the Town Hall this evening. The piece is played by a splendid assemblage of artists, among them being Miss Kate Campion (soprano), Miss Madgo Clague (contralto), Mr. Arthur Ripley (tenor), Mr." Geoff Colledge (baritone) and Mr. E. Thomas (bass). A full chorus and orchestra under the conductorsliip of Mr. Colin Muston, and led by Miss Edith Whitelaw, will be heard.
