Donor Of £105,000 Thanksgiving Offer. KING'S RECOVERY FUND. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, May 13. Tho "Evening Standard" this evening discloses tho identity of the person who anonymously gave £105,000 to the King Edward Hospital fund-as a thankoffering for King George's recovery. His identity has been veiled under the pseudonym of "Audax." A few evenings ago he broadcast an appeal to the public to help the hospital fund, still retaining the pseudonym. Tho "Evening Standard" states, however, that within the last few days so many peoplo have succeeded in discovering his identity that the mystery is a mystery no longer. "Audax" is Mr. George Roberts, of Wimbledon", director of several companies. The journal adds that no more effectivo advertisement could have been devised for the hospital fund than. the obscurity which "Audax" so determinedly courted.
