BOXING.
N.B.A. PROPOSALS. BOUTS FOR KING'S BIRTHDAY. At a meeting of the N.B.A. committee yesterday it was decided to hold two professional bouts on June 'i. One bout will be between Frank Taylor (Auckland) and Cyril Hume (Wellington), Inst year's New Zealand amateur bantam champion. For the' other bout, the secretary is approaching Tommy Donovan (Waltara), with a view to a match with Matt Hatton. Two amateur bouts will also be put on, a six-round bout between Frear and McCarthney, and a welter-weight four-round bout.
