SCOTLAND V. THE WORLD. Tlie Control Board of the A.F.A. lias decided to ;;nt on as the mid-week attraction next Wednesday the fixture Scotland v. The World, in view probably of the result of the international sevies at Home,, where the side from beyond the Tweed beat all comers in international combat. Unfortunately it was found impracticable to stage the return fixture Dunedin v. Auckland, and as the challenge of nations is always an attractive feature, it was decided to oppose an eleven from the. nursery of the Soccer code by a team of all nationalities. Mr. A. P. Neeslwm has chosen the following elevens, and any player included who is not available is asked to inform the selector at> once.— Scotland.—Chesney, Ferguson, Eeid. J. Morrison, Christie," Fyffie, Gumming, Dunsmore, Hamilton, Hislop, Kay. The World. —Batty, Gerrard, Simpson, Tinkler. Gilmore, Jones, Innes, Humphreys, Spencer, Williams and Miles.
