LOCAL ELECTIONS.
MT. WELLINGTON BOARD. RETIRING MEMBERS RE-ELECTED. FEW ELECTORS VOTE. The retiring members, Messrs G. H. Kay and A. C. Hare, were re-elected to tlie Mount Wellington Road Board oil Saturday, when an election was held to fill the vacancies caused by their retirement in rotation. Mr. J. W. Hotham also offered himself for election. The result was announced thus:—Mr. Kay, 150; Mr. Hare, 14U; Mr. Hotham, 124, There are over 700 names on the roll.
