Mr. Karl Atkinson has been appointed New Zealand editor of "Music in Australia," a Dominion edition o£ wdiich will be published next month. His Excellency the Governor-General Sir Charles Fergusson, fishing the Tongariro River, has had some fine catches of rainbow trout. The Rev. Joseph W. Kemp, who has been conducting an evangelical mission in Melbourne, is a passenger by the Aorangi, which is due in Auckland from Sydney on Monday morning. * Mr. J. M. Massey, M.P. for Franklin, has been appointed to represent the Auckland A. and P. Association on the council of the Royal A. and P. Society. Star Hotel guests include Mr. E. F. Morris (Dunedin), and Mr. A. P. Keightly, Mr. J. W. Foley, Mr. A. McNeil, Mr. W. Donovan and Mr. W. A. Marshall (Wellington). Central Hotel guests include Mr. and Mrs. L. Davidson (Dargaville), Mr. F. C. Sutherland, Mr. Y. F. Webley (Wellington), Mr. H. C. Hardcastle (Rotorua). Mr. J. F. Mackley, lubricating engineer for the Atlantic Oil Company, was a passenger from Wellington by the Limited express this morning.. The Rev. David C'alder, Dominion secretary, British and Foreign Bible Society, arrived in Auckland from Wellington this morning to take part in the observance of Bible Sunday, which is being celebrated in the city and throughout the province to-morrow. Mr. H. H. Sterling, General Manager of the New Zealand Railways, arrived from Wellington by the first express this morning. He was engaged on departmental business during the day and will be similarly engaged on Monday. Mr. Sterling will return to Wellington on Monday evening.
