WATERSIDER INJURED.
LEFT ANKLE BROKEN".
The left ankle of Mr. P. Henrickson, w-atersider, of 33, Victoria Avenue, Mount Eden, was broken this morning, when a heavy wheel, detached from a motor lorry, fell on his leg. Mr. Henrickson, who is a married man, aged 59 was loading cargo in the hold of a vessel moored at the Northern wharf, when t'he wheel crashed down. So heaw was the wheel that it could not be lifted off the injured man till three of his work mates lent assistance. Mr. Henrickson, who is an employee of the Northern Steamship Company, _ was taken to the Auckland Hospital in the St. John ambulance.
