HOW TO GET BRILLIANT IDEAS.
They say that every artist has a favourite mood in ■which his best ideas are horn: Shelley wrote easiest while toasting himself in the sun; Mozart composed more readily after a full dinner; Schiller worked hest with his feet in ice water. And now comes a hot tip from Mr. James W. Bright, a cartoonist, who claims that he has derived so many more ideas from his favourite pipe tohacco—Edgeworth-—than from any other firand, that now he has "wedded" his pipe to it I "The. more you use Edgeworth," says he, "the more you crave it as a wholesome pleasure."—(Ad.)
