The Hon. E. Newman, M.L.C., has offered the Government an area of land, a portion of his property situated on the coast alio lit half-way between Levin and Foxton, for use as a seaplane base. The area of about 100 acres is to be inspected By an -Air I orce officer on instructions issued by the Defence Department,
