TURUA.
There was a large attendance at the Turua Town Hall when a bazaar, organised by the Town Band to raise funds to provide uniforms, was officially opened by Mr. A. 31. Samuel. M.P.. who was supported by Mr. W. Bonsard. Mayor of Thames, and' Mr. W. Danby, chairman of the Thames Harbour Board. Good business was done at all the stalls.and it is anticipated that the committee will achieve its object.
