MILITARY CHAMPIONSHIPS. CADETS AND TERRITORIALS. Tlie annual swimming gala of the Auckland Hilitary Sports Association was held at the Tepid Baths last night, when there was a large attendance of the boys, but the public did not attend in large numbers, probably because of the municipal elections. By the rules, eiicli unit wjis allowed only one representative, and each competitor was limited to one event, the idea being to inculcate esprit de corps as against individualism and pot hunting. The results were : — In the Senior Cadets results the abbreviations are: A.G.S., Auckland Grammar School: M.A.G.S.. Mount Albert Grammar School; T.C., Technical College; S.H.C., Sacred Heart College.
