HUGE OIVIC RECEPTION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 10. A public 'welcome will be given t" Major H. O. D. Segrave when he arrive? at Southampton on Friday on the White Star liner Olympic from the United States, where he regained for Britain the world's land speed record. All the shipping in the port will be dressed with flays. An escort for the Olympic will be provided. The Mayor. Mr. M. H. Pugh. and the members of the corporation, will board the liner to greet- Major Segrave, and a <*ivic reception, to which 1500 people have been invited, -will be held on shore. In London on Monday Major Segrave will be the guest of honour at a banquet, which the Prince of Wales and representatives of the Government departments will attend.
