WHANGAREI CLUB WINNER.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) j WHANGAREI, Wednesday. The competitions of the Whangarel Rifle Club have been completed at the Otaika range. J. p. White won the service championship with a total of 189 F Stewart being runner-np. The competition proved most interesting throughout the year, and was not decided nntil the final shoot, when J. Norris won the gold medal with a total of 486. Other i*«Hi nT scores were:—J. P. White, J. Harland. 483 - C. N. White, W. S. Clark, 482; M. Btewart! 480 ; J. Willcocks, 477 ; A. Willcocks, 472. The club championship, carrying with It the Ruakaka Challenge Cup, was won for the second year in succession by J. p. White (485), with J. Harland (488) up. The Willcocks Medal for the trophy shoot was won by J. Harland.

THE RANGITAIKI CLUB.

The Rangitaiki Rifle Club fired the flnaj competition for Mrs. Moore's trophy last Saturday, when L. Davies was top with the splendid score of 97. The trophy was won by W. Moore, who has shot very consistently throughout the competition, with a score of 189 off the rifle.
